About the Artist

IMGP0180

I am captivated by the rocks of Lake Champlain.

What captivated me first were the fossils. I have a knack for finding them. That knack is called pattern recognition and that’s what I do – I recognize patterns in the rocks. And I use those patterns to create art.

I like combining my work with information about Lake Champlain and  opportunities to engage with the rocks because the rocks come  from the same sea bed as the oldest known reef community on the planet and are a lot of fun to play with.

I hope that my work strengthens our connections to life on the planet and to Lake Champlain.
